Infinite Mugwort
At the beginning of the Beetle Forest, you'll meet the blue cocoon master. He will ask you what do you want to learn, select attack and defense. You will now train in a real battle after he gives you some mugwort. When he tells you to attack, don't do that, defend instead. The master will stop the training and you'll go back to the "What do you want to learn?" screen but with an extra mugwort. Repeat this until you get the desired amount of mugwort.

For more money just do this simple little trick:
at the title screen (where it says press start) hold L2 and then press (while holding L2) circle,
X, square, triangle, after that start a new game and you should have more money or you can try it on a saved game! It worked for me!
