Someone among the staff of Ubisoft may feel a little embarrassed at the moment. 2GB of game assets have been posted on Ubisoft's public FTP and has lead to several games getting an early unveiling.
Screenshots, concept art and videos was included in the game assets. Some was for already announced games such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry Vengeance, Rainbow Six: Vegas, PSP Star Wars: Lethal Alliance and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Unannounced titles was also revealed by the leak, and includes Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia 5, Splinter Cell Conviction and a Rocky game on PSP.
Ubisoft has released the following statement regarding the leak of this material.
"We are clearly displeased that confidential information from Ubisoft has been distributed on the internet," the publisher said. "The publication of this type of information can only be harmful to the game development process and we will take all steps necessary to prevent this from happening in the future. We are still investigating the events that lead to this information leak and at this time have no further comment."
