Activision CEO Robert Kotick confirmed that Guitar Hero will be available on other platforms than PlayStation 2 at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia XV Conference.

"You can expect next calendar year, launches of Guitar Hero on every significant new format," he told audience. "The long-term opportunities include all sorts of product extensions, music downloads that are very high-margin opportunities, and we’ll start with Guitar Hero II for the PlayStation 2 this fall."
