If you collect the four jewels on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto, Dr. Light can make an item that reduces the energy use of your special weapons!
Turbo Buster
Go into any stage and get Mega Man nailed. Repeat the procedure as many times as it takes until Dr. Light takes pity on you and gives you the Turbo Buster. Now your shots and charges are faster.
